Those questions by "God" were rhetorical questions. Meaning, "He" or rather "They" (the Elohim - being plural) knew what the humans did, in that the humans stole something that didn't belong to them (the "fruit" - which could be anything).

This story is older than the Hebrew Bible.

The Elohim are pretty "all knowing" and pretty "powerful"... So... I'd be careful... Because they drove the Serpent people underground. It's a secret war between what some of the humans call the "Nordics" versus the "Reptilians". But these identifications are poorly misunderstood.
