6,000 years from now, will humans say that Mount Rushmore was built by aliens?

The ancient astronaut conspiracy argues that scientific institutions and governments are covering up what advocates believe are the “true” origins of ancient neolithic sites—aliens.

Hype[]

The ancient astronaut hypothesis was fleshed out by advocates, such as Zecharia Sitchin in the 1970s, especially through his notorious Mythology-Fiction novel, The Lost Book of Enki. Much of Sitchin‘s works are thought experiments concerning odd pictograms on various Sumerian seals, that have recently been unearthed since the 19th century. To fill in hypothetical gaps, Sitchin heavily relied on Neo-Babylonish works, such as the Enuma Elish.

The snowball effect of Planet-X and Nibiru predictions in the 1980s and ‘90s, climaxed with so much public interest, that the History channel hosted, Ancient Aliens to discuss the possibility of aliens having built well-known ancient sites around the World.

Criticism[]

Liberal advocates for the ancient astronaut hypothesis give monumental credit to aliens, rather than acknowledging that ancient man may have been more than just ape-like in intelligence. The utilization of mathematics by the Sumerians becomes ever more clearer with every dig. The credit given, by modern Acedemia, to the Ancient Greeks for algebraic formulas, should further be acknowledged through the roots of Sumerian culture. Not giving due credit to “Neolithic” man, is residue from evolutionist Academia who believe that Paleo and Neolithic man were no more intelligent than a lazy inquisitive-looking Orangutang, who like to finger-paint on cave walls, because there’s nothing better to do.
