Response to the theory from an anonymous Alliance OH resident and railfan[]

  1. Alliance, Oh is west of TMI. Waste would have shipped on an Westbound train not an Eastbound. The wrecked train was an eastbound. Train was traveling about 2 times speed limit for track it was on due to missed signal. Wreck covered large area national guard called in because of looting.
  2. The accident was of a Conrail train operating on Conrail tracks. Form 19 trainorder shown is not from Conrail (company name appears to end with Pacific). Conrail engine 1912 was one of several engines powering the large train. The were and still are several railroads with engines numbered 1912 which are different locomotives owned by different railroads. Form 19 show has nothing to do with accident or train involved
  3. TMI waste traveled this route several times in the 1980's in special trains made up of special cars. Waste always traveled westbound. I have pictures of some of these trains. No big secret.
  4. There was no attempt to conceal anything except the rumored state of some of the train operating crew members who were soon no longer employed by Conrail.
