The theory of the Terms of Use spam filter conspiracy holds that spam filters such as those on Fandom Wikia are put in place not for their alleged purpose, but to prevent editing of existing articles. For example, recent additions to the filter's list of so-called "slurs" prevent editing of articles written as recently as a few months ago. The stupid spam filter stops all edits to articles in which certain words are even present, even if they are not added to the article during the editing. Even in edit this section mode, the system somehow scans the entire article showing that far from helping remove alleged "slurs", the edit stop keeps them there unless the editor has the resources and time to read the entire article through in one single edit session.
According to the theory, this is a conspiracy to prevent updates to articles about conspiracies in order to give a false appearance of the conspiracy theories being "outdated" and unable to rebutt new alleged criticisms that they in fact have good rebuttals of. And in the case of articles where the word is only present one or two times and in itself removable, it may still be a conspiracy to kill links and make it more difficult to read relevant information in other linked articles.
How the conspiracy generates profit[]
Such "freezing" of articles may also serve to use past revisions of them as false flag theories, and the article about that is in itself an example of a "frozen" article and of the fact that spam filters are stupid. For instance, the filter prevents addition of the information that Scott Douglas Lively is a confirmed example of an American lobbying for anti-gay laws in Russia. American control over such legislation in Russia is predicted based on the fact that Russian anti-gay laws match American discourse but not Russian tradition. In this case, the filter hangs up on a word that begins with r and ends with etarded, which given the absurd effects of the spam filter is a good description both of the filter itself and of the brainwashed zombies that believe the filter to be "necessary".
Another possible purpose of freezing articles is for Big Tech to give itself Parkinson's law style bullshit jobs. By preventing removal of words they call "slurs" through editing technicalities, they keep the words in the articles. Then their bullshit job creation departments by other names claim that the words are there because of allegedly widespread unwillingness to remove them, when removal is in fact hindered by the idiotic filters claimed to be there to prevent the words from being used. And then they create more bullshit jobs for themselves to make money from brainwashed idiots that believe themselves to "support an ethical cause" when they pay the corporatocrats to create more counterproductive algorithms. The last repetition of that cycle may be how the idiotic filter came into place.
Fallacies in the allegation that filters are "necessary"[]
The claim that "the filter is necessary because the words in question are used as slurs" committs a number of fallacies. Firstly, to allege that a word is a "slur" as soon as it is used while at the same time claiming that it is a "slur" because it is used for a particular "purpose" is a circular reasoning fallacy. To allege that use of particular words automatically has a particular "purpose" is circular because it is methodologically unable to falsify the claim that one particular word and not another is used for the alleged "purpose".
Secondly, using "statistics" makes you easy to control by False flag groups and corporate media control, and thus makes you a puppet of big corporations. The big corporations can simply pick a number of words that they would profit from stopping edits to articles in which the words are present, hire troll groups to use the words specifically in posts where they call for violence, and then hire another group that claims the posts by their other puppets as alleged "evidence" that the words "must" be blocked. That makes anyone who buys the claim that "the words are slurs because of how they have been abused by others" a zombie puppet without any thoughts of his or her own controlled by big corporations for the corporation's profit.
