Ellen Louise Wilson née Axson (1860—1914)

The Wilson Administration conspiracy was that Ellen Wilson, wife of 28th US President Woodrow Wilson, was acting in as US President during Woodrow's stroke. She is considered by some to be the First Lady to run the United States.
Conspiracy[]
The public was not made aware of Woodrow Wilson's stroke for months. Meanwhile, Edith Wilson was making most executive decisions. Mrs. Wilson claimed that she acted only as a “steward,”. However, historians who have analyzed the Wilson term in office confirm that for well over a year, Mrs. Wilson was effectively president.[1]
